And the final 2 contestants are…

So tonight was my 2nd day of class. We got out at 7:45 tonight, so I didn’t make it home in time for the beginning of Idol. And yet again, I messed up the taping of Idol and I forgot to turn off the VCR so it didn’t record. Oh well, I only missed the first 15 minutes. When I turned on the TV, they were showing Haley’s hometown visit. I didn’t miss Lauren or Scotty’s, so that’s all that matters!

After some group I’ve never heard of performed, it was time for Scotty to go home. That has to be the greatest feeling in the world going back to your hometown and actually seeing all of the support that you’re getting from everyone. Josh Turner surprised Scotty by coming out on stage with him as he was singing Josh’s song “Your Man”, the song he sang at his audition. Scotty was so surprised and I bet he loved that moment!!

Next up was Nicole Scherzinger performing. What does she have to do with Idol? I just don’t understand why Idol has all these random people on the show to perform. I guess they just use it as filler time, but they could at least get more past Idol contestants or something.

Up next we saw Lauren’s hometown visit! She is so cute and her personality reminds me of Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood. It was heartbreaking when she saw all the damage that has been caused by the storms. And the little kid she met that saved his family…so cute!! He pulled his brother out from some bricks!

The first person in the finale is….ugh, Ryan made us wait till after the commercial break!! I hate when he does that.

Alright, time for the results for real now…the first person in the finale is Scotty!!!!

And the second person in the finale is…Lauren!!!!! Yay!!! I am soooooo happy!!! I knew that Lauren would be in the finale. And I always thought it would be James or Scotty along side her. I just still can’t believe how far Haley has made it!! I thought she was going to be gone weeks ago!!

Well, that’s all I have for the results, I’m gonna go celebrate now!! Lol…not really, I’m not going anywhere. But I might do a happy dance!! Leave me comments!!

We’re finally down to the final 3!!

So, this was supposed to get posted last night around 9:00,  but Blogger wasn’t working. Now it finally is, so here is what I wrote about Idol last night.

What a season it has been so far. Tonight we will find out who makes it to the top 3!! I was going to go for a bike ride with my dad and fiancé but then I just didn’t feel like it and I need to get some dishes done. So I’m going to do dishes, watch Idol, and write my thoughts on Idol, all at the same time!

Tonight we actually got a recap of the performances last night. I think that’s one of the few times that they showed a recap this season. Then James and Scotty sang a duet. Next up Haley and Lauren did a duet.

Then they showed the contestants video chatting with their family members using Windows 7. That was so cute when James’ son was singing the ABC’s. I was feeling tears in my eyes! That has to be really hard to be away from your family for that long.

Woah, they have gold chairs for the top 3! The first person in the top 3 is Lauren!!! Yay! I knew she would be safe!!!

It is now 8:36 and we still don’t know who else is going to be in the top 3. They could make this into a 30 minute show if they didn’t have all this useless stuff. When they have past Idol contestants on the show, that is fine. But did they really have to have Enrique perform? He wasn’t the mentor this week. Oh well.

And speaking of past Idol contestants, Jordin Sparks was on tonight!! I loved her intro!! It showed her winning idol, then played some songs from her previous CD’s. I love her new song “I Am Woman”! I’ve probably listened to it a couple hundred times since buying it on Tuesday! I kept listening to it over and over again on repeat! I’m so excited that she’s touring with New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys this summer cause I can’t wait to see her again!! She is the one Idol contestant that I would really love to meet!! I mean, I’d love to meet a lot of them, but she is at the top of my list!!! Haha, she went up to the judges when she was singing and she kissed Steven on the lips. Overall her performance was awesome!!! It’s hard to believe that she was only 16 when she won Idol!! And now, like her song says, she is a woman!

After the commercial break, they premiered Steven’s new music video. It is now 8:45. Come on, we just want to know the results!

Back to the results…I am shocked!!! Haley is in the top 3!!! Wow!!!! So now it will either be Scotty or James going home. I really hope it’s Scotty!!!

Noooooooo….what has America done??? I think this is worse than when Pia got voted off!! I thought that he could have made it to the finale. Now I really hope that Scotty and Lauren are in the finale. It’s not that I don’t like Haley, because I do a little bit, but James got robbed

Tonight 5 becomes 4…

It’s time for yet another results show. I think this will be the first week of the season that they didn’t have an Idol alum sing on the results show. They couldn’t have run out of Idol alum because there are 9 seasons worth to choose from.

A first on Idol, the contestants went to Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey and got to see what it’s like to be on that show. Lauren and Jacob made the best omelet. And Scotty’s was the worst, Gordon spit it out! There’s going to be more of them in Hell’s Kitchen later in the show so that should be interesting.

I think I know what Ryan is going to do with the groups tonight!!! He has James on one side and Lauren on the other. He is going to make two groups of two and then tell the last person they are safe. Then he is going to have that last person go to the group of two people that they think is safe. I remember one season they did this and the person that they told to go choose the group just sat down in the middle of the stage. They didn’t want to have to choose who they thought was the bottom 2 group. I can’t remember who that was so let me know if anyone knows it! We’ll have to see if that’s the way they do things tonight or if they will mix things up.

Now Jacob and Lauren get to do a blind taste test with Gordon. And Lauren won! Jacob thought that the hot dog was sausage, and said that a hot dog is a type of sausage. No it isn’t, Jacob!

Next Jennifer Lozez sang her new song “On the Floor”. I think the song is pretty good. My favorite part is when she says “Afrika!” The breakaway glass was awesome! I wonder how they did that cause it couldn’t have been real because that would have been dangerous. I thought it was funny that Randy, Steven, and Tyler were in the audience with a bowl of popcorn. And before Jennifer started singing, Steven and Randy were throwing popcorn at the TV and it was hitting the people in front of them. And then after she was done singing, one of them dumped the whole bucket of popcorn.

Back to the results…Jacob joined Lauren. Haley is next and she goes and stands beside James. So what I said was going to happen, just might happen. Scotty is…safe!! And so is James and Haley!! So that means that it is down to Jacob and Lauren. Jacob is definitely leaving because there is no way Lauren is leaving!! This better not be another repeat week of when Pia left!

The person leaving is…Jacob!!!! Now Haley will hopefully be leaving next week! Well, that’s all for now. What did you think of the results? Leave me comments!

It’s time for the results

Results show…someone must go. That was pretty cool that they got to go to England. That was a first for the show.

Woah, it’s Crystal Bowersox…who is she?? The only time I’ve heard about her recently is in the diabetes commercials. But other than that, I don’t know what she’s up to at all.

Alright, time for the results. I’m wrong already because I said Haley would be in the bottom 3 and she isn’t. James is the next one safe, which I figured. As is Lauren, duh! And then Jacob is safe, so it’s down to Casey and Scotty!!!

The person leaving us tonight is…Casey!!! Yay!! I was right about the results again!!!

Well, we are down to the final 5. It just keeps getting harder, and harder to figure out who is going to leave.

Well, that’s all I have for now. Oh, one more quick thing. The American Idols Live Tour dates have been announced!!! I can’t wait!!!

Here we go…time for results!!!! Well, Jacob is in the bottom 3, I predicted that.

As I was saying in my review about last night’s show, I love when they show behind the scenes stuff where the Idols are interacting with each other. It looks like they had so much bowling. And the spa…I’m so jealous!!

And I am right again…Stefano is in the bottom 3! I’m also right about Haley being in the bottom 3. But then she is safe right away, so I’m wrong about who is going home. Now I think it will be Stefano.

And the person leaving is…Stefano!!! I should have predicted it would be him in the first place! So now we are down to 6. It is anyone’s game this season. That’s all I’ve got for now. Leave me comments and let me know what you thought.

Another one bites the dust…

I wish they would get rid of the host for the host already! It’s really annoying and unnecessary!!!

I was wrong about the first person in the bottom 3. The first person in the bottom is Haley and not Casey like I predicted.

We got to welcome back Kelly Clarkson to the American Idol stage. It is so hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since Idol started!! Kelly was just 18 when she won Idol and now she’s 28!!!

Back to more results. James is safe, which is a given every week. Stefano is in the bottom 3. I got 2 of the people in the bottom 3 correct, Haley and Paul. And I could still be right about Paul leaving!! And I was right!! Paul is the first guy to leave since the top 13.

And then there were 8…

Well, after last night’s show, I don’t even want there to be a results show. No one should go home because they were all good! But, someone has to go…so let’s see who it’s gonna be.

Russel Brandt is hilarious!! That’s a great change for a mentor on the show, they always have someone who is a singer, not an actor. But it looks like he had fun with it and so did the contestants.

Well, I got one person in the bottom 3 wrong. I thought that Lauren was going to be in the bottom 3. I didn’t think she deserved it, but I just put her there cause I didn’t know who else to put in the bottom 3. Instead of Lauren, it was Stefano,

I was also wrong about the second person in the bottom 3. I would have never guessed that it would be Pia in the bottom 3.

The TMZ part was funny, when they gave the contestants some tips. I loved it when they picked on James for being so excited when Hulk Hogan was on the show. That was mean when they picked on Lauren for falling down the stairs though.

Now in center stage, James, Haley, and Jacob. James is the first one safe, I saw that coming. So now that means I’m only going to have one person in the bottom 3 right. And that person is…Jacob. I really think he could be leaving this week!

Wow, Ryan was so cruel to Jacob…when he said that he was going to be leaving us, I thought he meant he was leaving. But he really said “you will be leaving us, and going to the couches cause you are safe!”

What!!!!! Pia is leaving???? That is insane!!!! Where is the save when you need it?!?!? That is ridiculous!!!! She shouldn’t have even been in the bottom 3!!!! I’m with Jennifer on this, I’m in shock and angry!!! This is what happens when you think that your favorite is safe, you have to vote!!! And the two leaving us tonight are…

Here we go, two people are leaving tonight! I just got off work a little bit ago so I’m watching this late. I’m just avoiding the internet so I don’t find out who left before I see it for myself.

That was really weird that Lauren and Scotty sang a duet. Why were they singled out of the group? Well, they went right to the results for those two after they sang, so maybe they’ll be doing this for the rest of the contestants. That was no surprise that both of them are safe.

Alright, I guess they will all be singing duets. I guess I missed Ryan saying that before Lauren and Scotty sang together. Or maybe he just didn’t say anything about it. And I wasn’t surprised that Naima is in the bottom 3.

I’m glad I taped Idol because I just fast-forwarded through Fantasia’s performance. Her voice just bugs me a little bit.

Alright, out of Pia, Thia, and Haley, I think Thia is going to be in the bottom 3 and the other two will be safe. And again, I was correct!

That was crazy about Casey last Thursday. He was shaking so bad!! We didn’t see him after the show though, so that was pretty crazy how he said he felt  kind of guilty for being there (I think guilty was the word, I don’t know).

Yay!!! For the first time this season, I actually got it right for who was leaving!!! And I’m kinda glad that two people left this week because I would have had no idea which one to choose from, Thia or Naima. But they both left!

Well, that’s all I’ve got for the results show. What did you think about the results?

And the top 10 is...

Oh wait, we don't have the top 10 yet. Casey received the least amount of votes but the judges saved him. And that is about all I know about tonight's results show because I had my VCR set up to record, but because the VCR wasn't turned off, it didn't record. Oh, I also know that because they used the save, the top 11 is going on tour. That is really cool. The first thing I thought when I saw online that Casey was saved was "what are they going to do about the tour?" I thought that maybe next week the person with the lowest votes would not be on the tour and then the second person would be leaving but still on tour. But then I just thought about it right now, and that wouldn't really make sense. It makes more sense to have the top 11 go on tour. Now I can't wait to see the tour dates and figure out which concert I'll be going to this year!! Well, that's all for now. Leave me comments!!

Say hello to your top 11

I loved the group song!!!! “Born This Way” is one of my favorite songs right now and it was awesome how they mashed it up with “Born to Be Wild”.

Now “American Idol” is turning into The Oprah Winfrey Show…now where is the car?? Seriously, when Ryan told them to look under their seats for the compilation CD, I felt like I was watching Oprah. I don’t get the point of the CD though because I’m pretty sure if you’re a fan of the show and have been watching for a while that you already have 10 songs on the CD. I know that I do.

Well, I was way off this week. I only got one person right in the bottom 3 this week, Haley. And she was my pick to go home, but that didn’t happen. I was almost going to put Karen in the bottom 3, but then I thought that she was alright this week.

So now we are down to 11: James, Haley, Lauren, Naima, Scotty, Thia, Pia, Stefano, Casey, Jacob, and Paul. Which means that next week we find out who the top 10 are and then we will get info on the tour!!!!
