So my question to you (anyone who may be reading this) what is your favorite thing about Christmas?

Ads During TV Shows

Ok, so we all know that TV shows use product placement. I just came across an article on yahoo that was talking about how the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” has taken product placement too far. You just gotta see these, it is hilarious! And it’s kind of annoying at the same time. They shouldn’t focus on the products as much and for as long as they do. But oh well, at least they aren’t doing this in every show…at least not yet.

Hilarious Video

I just wanted to share this hilarious video with you. Jordin Sparks posted it on her blog recently and I just think it is hilarious, and so do my friends. I tweeted it to Ellen Degeneres (@theellenshow) so if you have a Twitter, please send it to her. She has got to get this girl on her show!!!! Enjoy :)

Story I Read in Cosmo

So I was reading my roommate’s issue of Cosmo last night and I came across this really sad story. I just wanted to share it with whoever reads my blog. It was about this 22-year-old girl that lost her boyfriend, Caleb, in a car crash. At the funeral, there was this girl that was his ex-girlfriend and she stood at the pulpit and said “This is so hard for me, because I was going to be Mrs. Caleb White one day".” When I read that, I’ll admit, I had tears in my eyes. I just couldn’t believe what must have been going through that girls’ mind. That had to have been the hardest thing that she has heard. Just knowing that the guy who she thought was her boyfriend, had been talking about marriage with his ex, wow. Well, guess that’s all I wanted to say about that, just wanted to share it.

So I was listening to my iPod today, and the song “I Loved Her First” started playing. I downloaded a few songs that could possibly be my father/daughter song at my wedding. And let me just say, I’m going to be a mess during that song. I cry just listening to the songs now, so imagine what I’m gonna be like as I’m dancing with my dad during one of those songs. I’ll admit I’m not the closest with my dad, we don’t really do that much together and he bugs me a lot, but he’s my dad and I love him. I will always love him. My wedding day is going to be one of the best days of my life and that dance with my dad will mean so much to me.

So does anyone have any suggestions for father/daughter songs? So far I’ve got “A Song for My Daughter” by Ray Allaire, “Daddy’s Angel” by T Carter, “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman, “Angel in My Arms” by Jack Kapanka, “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and of course, “I Loved Her First” by Heartland.

So now my local radio station is talking about how there is a new study saying that it may be unhealthy taking showers everyday. I don’t understand how showering daily could be bad for you. I was doing some research and apparently someone in this article I read admitted that she showers once every four days. That is just nasty, I’m sorry. You should definitely take a shower everyday or at least every other day. If you take it less often than that, you’re just gonna smell like B.O. and no one likes that smell. So please do everyone around you a favor, and take a shower at least every other day.
