The Bachelorette Heads to Bermuda!

This week on the Bachelorette, they headed to Bermuda!! There will be 3 dates: an individual date, group date, and 2 on 1 date. And on the group date, if they don’t get a rose, they are headed home immediately.

Doug is the one to get the individual date and they walked around town for a little and did some shopping. They are so cute together! Emily got a postcard to send to Doug’s son, Austin. I thought that was really thoughtful of her! At dinner, Emily tried to dig deeper and figure out more about Doug. She thinks that he is just giving him perfect answers and not honest answers. But then he asked her for her faults and she said that it was hard coming up with them on the spot so she realized how he felt when she was asking him what his faults were. In the end, she gave him a rose so he is safe this week! It seemed a little awkward at the end. Doug was saying in a side interview that he isn’t going to make the first move to kiss Emily and that if she wants a kiss, she will have to make the first move. The look on her face made it seem like she was a little disappointed that he didn’t make the first move and kiss her.

On to the group date…they did some sailing! The guys were split in half and took part in a Bermuda match race! The winners would get to spend more time with Emily while the losers were headed back to the hotel. One group almost tipped their boat over! I don’t think any of the guys had any experience with sailing. I’m glad that Arie and Jef were part of the winning team. Emily seems to have a connection with both of them.

Next was the date that the guys were dreading…the 2 on 1 date with John and Nate. And at the end of this date, someone will be going home! They went to an island called Diving Board Island where they jumped off a cliff into the water! It looked like so much fun!! I would love to be able to do that someday! After that, they went into a cave to have dinner. That looked amazing!! The whole date was really awkward! I bet Emily felt a little better when she got the chance to talk to Nate alone for a little bit. I don’t think Emily and Nate have gotten to spend as much time together as she has with some of the other guys. I’m just not seeing any connection between them. And Emily didn’t see that connection either because John got the rose, sending Nate packing.

Surprisingly, Alejandro got a rose. I haven’t seen any connection between them. Maybe she just wants to keep him so she can spend more time with him. The 2 guys going home were Michael and Charlie. I think that was a good choice because she never connected with either of them.

Next week they head to London, England. I can’t wait for next week! Things are getting really good!!! One thing that is going to happen next week is that one of the guys tells Emily that one of the guys referred to Ricki as baggage. I really hope she finds out who that guy is and gets rid of him! I guess we’ll have to wait until next Monday night to find out!

Babies, babies, babies

So…it seems like a lot of the bloggers I follow are having babies!! It’s so exciting because that means in a few weeks they’ll be posting baby pictures and I’ll get to “awwww!!” all over them!! I just love babies!! Congrats to all the bloggers who are expecting!!! I can’t wait to have one of my own! I would love to have one after the wedding next May, but I promised myself that I’m going to teach for 2 years before my fiancé and I start to have kids. So that would make it 2015 if I start teaching in the fall of 2013. That’s about 3 years from now…it seems so far away!! But I can wait, I know I can. It will all be worth it in the end!

For now, I have these two cuties that are my babies…

And just like babies, they grow up so fast!!! Mia and Milo are getting so big! And what is amazing, is that he weighs a little more than she does! Mia looks a little bigger, but I guess it’s just that she has more fur that Milo. I’m so glad that they are best friends now! They like to help each other clean themselves, it’s so cute! First it was just Milo licking Mia, but then she starting licking him occasionally.

 

And look at Milo, isn’t this just so darn cute? He was sitting like that on his own, I swear that I didn’t put his paws like that!!!

It’s going to be nice when we can start giving them adult food in September because the brand of kitten food we got, Wiskas Kitten, we can only find at Kmart! And they are tiny 3 lb bags which means we have to either buy them often or buy a few of them at the same time. The last time we needed some, Kmart was all out so we had to run all the way to Petsmart. I can’t wait until we can buy a huge bag that will last us a lot longer than a few weeks!! Well, I’m off to catch up on some TV shows on my DVR. Last night my DVR was constantly working because there were a ton of shows on: Hell’s Kitchen, Cake Boss, The Bachelorette, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Extreme Couponing!! How and why did I get hooked onto so many shows?!?! Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

It’s time for The X-Factor

It looks like it’s gonna be a good night of auditions tonight!! The first duo up are really good friends that have been singing together for 4 years. I love how  Brock said that he loves Makenna but she just doesn’t know it yet. Well, I think after her seeing this episode tonight, that she knows!! They look so cute together and I think they should be dating! I really liked their performance!! I’m not sure if I can see them going too far though, because I think both of their voices could use some work. But I’m glad to see them go through!!

So the guy that said he was there for the money, he was awful! I can’t remember his name, that’s how unmemorable he was, haha!! I don’t know what the judges see in him and why they said yes. Wow! Oh well, he won’t last that long!!

Paula has gone crazy, but she is awesome!!! I’m glad she is on TV again! And working yet again with Simon is going to be fun to watch! I forgot how much I enjoyed watching them together on Idol.

Josh really surprised me!! When he said he was singing “At Last”, I said “what the heck is a guy like him doing singing a girly love song?” But you know what, it was really good!!! He got 3,335 yeses, according to Simon. That is awesome!!! I think he can make it pretty far in the competition!!

Next up is The Good Girls, a mother-daughter duo. That was torturous to listen to!!! I agree with Simon, was that serious??

This girl’s name is Drew, that’s very interesting. I’ve never heard the name Drew for a girl. We find out in her clip before she sings that she is a huge Justin Bieber fan. And of course it’s fitting that she sang “Baby”. She slowed it down a little and I thought she was great!! Nicole and Simon both said they liked her version of the song more than Justin’s!!! LA loved it as well!! I really hope she makes it far and gets to meet Justin Bieber someday, she really deserves it!!

Peet seems interesting. His parents are dwarfs and he is the only normal sized person in his family. I also remember him saying that he wants to be a teen heartthrob. I don’t know how that will be possible because he’s 21. His voice definitely needs some work!!! Maybe with a few voice lessons he could become better.

I don’t think Elaine Gibbs, a wedding singer,  will be singing at weddings for much longer. Or if she does, people will be paying her a lot of money to do so! She is really good!!

Night 2 of The X-Factor Premier

Welcome to night two of The X-Factor premier. First up is Ashley who claims to be a “starving artist”, but said she isn’t really starving. Wow, she is one of those delusional people who think they can sing, but they can’t!! She’s also one of those people that can’t take no for an answer. You’re never gonna make it in the music business, just give up!!!

I thought that Caitlynne was kinda good. I agree with Nicole that she has room to grow though. I thought that was sweet of Paula to go up on the stage to comfort her. She’s only 16 though, so so definitely has time to improve and try again.

Next up is Nick, who is currently unemployed because he took 2 days off work to audition for The X-Factor. I think that’s horrible!! He’s a great singer!!! So Nick is the first one we see get through from Miami. Will the good singers keep on coming?

Jeremiah sounded amazing!!! It’s not too often that you hear a guy that can sing that high! The crowd seemed to love him and so did the judges!!!

Melanie was even more amazing!!! She definitely  has it!!! How come she hasn’t auditioned for Idol before??

Ken…I mean Jonny, was up next. When Simon asked him who he looks like, he goes “Justin Bieber” and Simon says “No, Barbie’s boyfriend”, haha!! I think with some work on his voice, he could probably be really good. He had a good personality, but not quite the right voice for the show.

I think it was hilarious how Nicole ketp sayiing “Y’all” to everyone and kept asking herself, “Did I just say “Y’all?” I guess being down south can have you talking like they do down there.

Dylan totally surprised me!!! This guy sold his truck so he could buy a plane ticked to get to the audition. I thought that because of that, he was going to be good but guess what….he sucked!!! About every 5 words out of his mouth was a swear word!!! I seriously can’t believe he sold his truck so he could do there and do that!! I guess some people really will do anything to get their 15 minutes of fame! (Or shame in his case!)

Caitlin, the rugby coach, was really good!!! She sang a different version of “Stop in the Name of Love”, a slowed down version of the song.

Side note, I love the commercial with Simon where he throws all of the phones and says “Rubbish” to all of them. Which phone is the one that he keeps and says is the best? Oh yeah, that would be Verizon!!! My fiance is getting his own cell plan soon and I kept trying to convince him to switch to Verizon, but he won’t. He is getting Sprint, which means when I get on his plan eventually, I’ll have to switch to Sprint. I mean, I guess it makes sense because they are the cheapest, but I’ve never had a problem with Verizon, so why would I switch? Oh well, as long as the services is ok.

Back to the show…this guy Xander, who Simon keeps calling Alexander (which is his real name but he doesn’t like it), is kind of annoying!! I didn’t like the first song he sang, but I kinda liked the second one. Wow…he didn’t make it through. I really thought that Paula was going to say yes!!

Week one of The X-Factor has come to an end. I wish we would have seen a lot more younger kids audition. The age limit starts at 13, so it would be pretty cool to see 13 year olds audition. Oh well, we still have more auditions to see, so maybe there will be more. So, what did you think? I heard today that last night’s episode got half the ratings that Idol did this past season!! Do you think it will pick up more viewers?

Simon is back!!!

The guy that we all love to hate (or maybe some people actually love him) is back on TV with the X-Factor!!! And I almost forgot that Paula Abdul is back as well!!! Having the X-Factor on in the fall is going to be really nice because it is on right before Idol starts back up again in January. It’s also going to be nice to have Simon and Paula working together again!! So here we go…it’s time for the premier of the X-Factor!!!

By watching the opening to the show, it looks like there is going to be tons of drama, just like on Idol. It sounds like they got some Australian guy to do the hosting. So anyone age 12 and up can compete and they can audition as individuals or groups. They showed one kid that looked like he was a lot younger than 12!! And they showed another guy that looked really old! But that’s the beauty of the show, it doesn’t matter how old you are. The next big star might be 50 years old, who knows. They can’t audition for American Idol, but now they have the X-Factor.

First up is a 13 year old girl. She has a cute personality!! I’m hoping she has a good voice!! That audition process has to be scary!! It’s completely different from Idol because you are singing in front of hundreds, maybe thousands, of people. Rachel is so cute!! And…she can sing!!! Side note, did they get LA Reid to judge because he looks like Randy? Cause that’s who he reminds me of. It’s almost like the original Idol judge panel up there. Cheryl looks kinda like Kara, so yeah…it’s almost like they tried to create the Idol judge panel. So, Rachel gets 4 yeses and is through to the next round! I’ll admit I just felt a tear in my eye. Even though she’s the first person we’ve seen, I think she can make it far in the competition!!.

Well, another thing this show has in common with Idol is that there are tons of bad people!! Tons of people who really think they can sing but never in a million years would they make it on any singing competition!!

Siomone is a Beyonce wannabe, for sure!! I agree with LA though, I don’t really like her singing voice that much. Ok…I take that back after she sang a second song. The second song sounded a lot better than the first one. I’m glad that the other 3 judges gave her a chance! They are going to prove LA wrong!!

I’m really rooting for Stacy, a 42-year old, single mom of 2. She’s been told since she was 30 that she’s too old, but I’d have to agree with that. She is really good!!! She’s been living in LA for 10 years and she hasn’t gotten noticed? Wow, the music industry must be harder to break into than I thought. She got a standing ovation from all 4 judges and is going on to the next round!!!

Wow!!! This show is nuts!!! I can’t believe when Geo pulled his pants down that they didn’t make him pull them back up!!! That is ridiculous!!! I agree with Simon when he said “What the bloody hell was that??” Paula went to the bathroom and got sick after seeing that and I don’t blame her. That was insane!!!!! Then the guy goes and acts like his pants just fell down by mistake. Yeah right!!!

Up next is…ok, so they introduce us to Marcus and then show us a clip of him 10 minutes later where is his laying on the stage. And then they go to a commercial break. This is his last chance at singing because his mom gave him 2 years and after that, he has to go to college and choose another career. He is really good!!! Now we know how he ended up on the floor, he was so overwhelmed about being on that stage. He was put through to the next round so we’ll be seeing more of him on the show!!!

Finally, the first band on the show!! They are singing “Rolling in the Deep”. I love this song so I hope they are good!!! They mixed it up at the end at it sounded really good!!! I forget what their name was, but they are through to the next round!!!!

Next is Chris, who hauls trash. He has a 2 year old son and just got out of rehab. Hopefully rehab helped him turn around his life and make good decisions. He sang an original song and was amazing!!!! I think he’ll definitely be around in the competition for a while!!!

Well, the first episode of The X-Factor is over. I thought it was really good!! You could kind of compare it to America’s Got Talent, because it’s open to a wider age range. But the part that is better than America’s Got Talent is that The X-Factor is only for singing. I don’t really care about seeing any other kind of talent. I’m all about the singing!!!!

What I did this weekend…

Hello everyone!!! It’s me again!!! Sorry I haven’t been posting as much as I used to. I’m just so busy that I don’t have time to blog!!! But I’m still going to continue doing it, even if I only get to blog once a week. I can’t believe I’ve already finished 4 weeks of classes so far!!! Only 12 more weeks to go!!!

So now that the weekend is almost over, what did I do this past weekend? Well, Friday morning the cable guy came and installed digital cable and DRV!!! Remember a few months ago when I was contemplating if we should get DVR or not? (Click here to read that post) Well, they are having a special on digital cable right now making it a lower price for a year. Also, DVR is about $3 cheaper for 6 months, so we figured we’d get it, since it isn’t as much extra as it would have been if we got it months ago. I’m so excited that we have DVR now because there are some shows returning this week and in the coming weeks. This will come in handy when I have to work on a night that one of my shows is on. I just hope I can find the time to watch all of them eventually!!

Yesterday I had off from work, but I didn’t do much. I was in a cleaning mood, so I did some cleaning up and vacuuming. If you looked at the place right now though, it wouldn’t look like I did much cleaning cause it is messy again!!! We need more space!!! Either that, or we need to get rid of a lot of stuff. We went to Walmart at one point yesterday and I decided to get Soul Surfer from Redbox. Soul surfer is the best movie of the year so far!!! And it is officially in the top 5 of my favorite movies!! I actually watched it again earlier this morning. I am definitely buying it eventually!! It is just so inspiring!! It gives you a different perspective on life and it doesn’t matter if you are religious or not. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone and everyone!!! Oh, and how can I forget to mention that Carrie Underwood is in Soul Surfer!!! My step-mom saw the movie before me and she said that Carrie had a bigger part than she thought she would, and I agree. I think Carrie did a great job in her debut movie!!! I hope to see her in another movie someday!!!

Then today, my fiancé is off playing airsoft so I’ve just been home alone all day. I watched 2 episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager and did some school work. Now it’s time for me to do a little more school work before I go to work at 5. I’m gonna try to get stuff done that needs to be done for Tuesday so that I don’t have to do it tomorrow. Tomorrow is my fiancé's 21st birthday and I want to take him out to eat and just spend the night with him, no school work allowed!! Have a great rest of your Sunday everyone!!

Has anyone ever seen Wildfire?

It was a show on ABC Family that ended in 2008 after 4 seasons. One of my friends from middle school got me into it because she loves horses. I only watched the first 2 seasons and then I don’t know what happened, but I just stopped watching it. Last year I don’t know what made me think about the show again, but I found it on Netflix. All 4 seasons are available to watch instantly. I got through most of the series last summer and just recently I’ve started watching it again. Well, I just finished watching the series finale and I gotta say that I’m really sad. I know that TV series can’t go on forever, but I wish they would have at least had one more season. I think even if you aren’t really that into horses, you could still love this show. So if you are subscribed to Netflix, I highly recommend checking out what Wildfire is all about. At least watch the pilot episode to check out what you are missing.

Are there any shows that you love that got cancelled and you would love to see more of the show? And I mean like, you’re dying to find out what happens to the characters next. Because that’s how I feel with Wildfire, I really want to know where things go from the last episode. But, I guess I’m just going to have to imagine on my own and create the rest of their story by myself. And I guess now I can take Wildfire out of my instant queue. And now I have to find another series that I can get into and watch every single episode of! Any suggestions??

2nd Episode of “Switched At Birth”

So it’s Monday night and my new TV show is on, “Switched At Birth”. If you’ve never heard of the show, read my post from last week to find out what the show is about.

So Daphne got picked up for school by Emmitt who drives a motorcycle. Her birth parents don’t like that and they want it to stop. It’s a weird situation because you could say that they have no right to say what she does and doesn’t do. But at the same time, she is technically their daughter.

Bay spent time with Regina and they found out they have some common interests. It’s very interesting watching them interact with each other. And the whole concept of the show is really mind boggling still. I’ve just never heard of anything like this before. The only kind of switching babies at birth I’ve ever thought of would be if you had multiples and you forgot who was who and you mixed them up accidently.

I’m really hooked on this show though. It’s more complicated than I thought it would be. Like I said in my first post about the show, they can’t just switch their kids and get on with their lives. It’s going to be complicated for the rest of their lives.

The one thing I don’t understand is why Regina doesn’t want to sue the hospital. If I were in their situation, I would definitely want to sue because that was a huge mistake that they made. My fiance thinks that maybe Regina did the switch on purpose, so I guess that could be why she doesn’t want to sue.

I feel bad for her…

I thought I would never say this, but I feel bad for Kate Gosselin. I was watching the newest episode of Kate Plus 8 last week where she was in NYC celebrating her birthday with her friend Jamie. They went out to dinner and then went to a club to go dancing. But you could tell that Kate wasn’t really into it that much. They were sitting at the club and then a guy comes up to Kate and starts talking to her. This is the part that makes me feel bad for her. That guy wasn’t going up to her because he wants to get to know her and date her. All he sees is a famous person and cameras. He just wants to go up to her and talk to her because he knows that he will get his 15 minutes of fame. The same thing happens on the show Teen Mom. Guys are only interested in the single girls on the show because they know that if they are seen with them, they might get on TV. I would really hate to be in their position because you would never know when a person likes you for you and not for who you are. I guess this goes for any celebrity really. So I’m not entirely sure why I feel bad for Kate, but I don’t feel bad for any other celebrity. Does anyone want to help me figure this out? Does it make sense that I feel bad for her and not any other celebrity? Leave me comments and let me know what you think.

Guest Post: Is Reality TV Good or Bad For Society?

Is Reality TV Good or Bad For Society?

Whether you consider reality television to be a good thing or a bad thing, one thing is for sure: it’s affected most of our lives in one way or another. Whether we cringe as we watch someone make a bad decision on The Bachelor or laugh when someone points out that a reality show was filmed right near their home, reality TV has had an impact on many of our lives.

Reality television has become such a prevalent topic in society that it not only dominates television and the media, but it’s found its way into academia. In fact, a question asking students whether reality television benefits us or is harmful appeared on the SAT exam.

So, what is the answer to that question? There’s an obvious response, in my opinion: reality television is good for society…and bad…and it can get pretty ugly.

The good:

Reality television can be educational, but in a fun way. For example, HGTV shows like House Hunters and Holmes on Homes are fun to watch, but also teach us lessons about purchasing property, hiring good contractors and the value of a dollar in different geographic areas. If someone sat you down with a textbook about hiring a contractor, would you be interested? Probably not. But is it fun to watch Mike Holmes fix up someone’s mess and give them something beautiful at the end? Absolutely.

Reality TV also creates a positive outlet for those with talent. For example, American Idol made it possible for talented singers without connections to the music scene to prove their skill. While some people have criticized this show and others for portraying glorified karaoke, the show brings so much joy to participants and viewers alike that it’s easy to justify its existence. Plus, American Idol and other contest-type shows create excellent opportunities for family time. I’ve heard many stories of whole families joining together to see who’s going to stay on American Idol for another week.

Some reality shows, like The Locator and Downsized, send positive messages. While the shows are clearly manipulated for the cameras, it is heartwarming to watch family members reunite on The Locator, and to watch the family on Downsized interact. I’m not going to say that Downsized doesn’t frustrate me with its clearly fake solutions to everyday problems – because it does – but the message of the show is clear: you can recover from losing cash without your family falling apart, and you can build your way back up. Additionally, the show Undercover Boss creates an outlet for a company to improve its employee relations while sharing its corporate values with the world. These are all positive communications.

The bad:

Reality TV creates an unrealistic view of reality. For example, take the shows 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom. I loved these shows when they first began. It was interesting to see Maci, Farrah, Catelynn and Amber on season one of both programs. I supported these shows because the girls were real: they didn’t know how they’d be portrayed. Because of this, we got a good view into the struggles in their everyday lives. We connected with them. We wanted them to succeed. Then, the problem began. MTV saw that ratings were high, so they kept pumping out seasons of 16 and Pregnant and created a second set of Teen Mom girls. Rumors swirled that girls were getting pregnant on purpose to be on 16 and Pregnant, and that the show made it look like parenting isn’t that hard. MTV contends that they show an accurate portrayal, but let’s be real here: MTV won’t show us a desperate mom with no hope at all, because it would be too depressing to watch. MTV shows us girls who struggle, but not girls who are so down on their luck that they can barely survive.

The ugly:

Reality television rewards people for being messy. For example, Danielle Staub, who horrified castmates and viewers on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, was rewarded with multiple television opportunities after she was kicked off RHONJ. For her bad behavior, she was rewarded with fame. The same goes for Snooki and the others on Jersey Shore. The housemates acted inappropriately and were rewarded with fame and fortune. What kind of message is this sending to America’s youth? Act like a fool on reality television and you’ll never need to get a real job? Be the most outgoing, ridiculous character on a reality show and you’ll be rewarded for your behavior? This is not okay!

Reality television thrusts people into the spotlight. This can take a normal, well-adjusted person and turn him or her into someone who lives their life just to stay famous. (You don’t think all of the sex tapes and videos of outrageous behavior that got out were accidents, do you?) In terms of another issue, reality television-based fame can ruin people’s lives. Take the Brown family from Sister Wives, for example. The media frenzy caused by their reality show forced them to have to leave their home and move to Las Vegas. I’m not saying that being featured on a reality show was a brilliant idea for the family’s stability, but their strong, loving family seems to have done a lot for the public perception of polygamists. For their attempt at improving relations with their culture, they were slapped with an investigation by the state, and one of the Sister Wives was fired from her job.

In conclusion, like anything else, reality television is both good and bad for society. I’ll compare it to the existence of painkillers: if reality television is used responsibly, in moderation and without causing an addiction, then sure, go ahead and take it in when you need it.

Signed, sealed, and almost delivered…

  I’m talking about the contract for my fiancé and I’s wedding ceremony and reception venue. We just got done reviewing the contract and I will be sending it tomorrow, along with the deposit. This is the first major decision we have made about our wedding so I’m so excited!!! It felt awesome writing out that check!!! We have a little less than 2 years till our wedding and it seems like there should be a ton of things to do, but for now I can’t really think of anything else to do. I guess all we can do is keep saving money for it and find ideas for what we want for everything. I have a bunch of wedding magazines that I plan on looking through more closely and then I’m going to tear out the pages with things I like and file them in the right section of my wedding binder.

I’m going to watch a new show on ABC Family tonight. It actually premiered on Monday, but I didn’t know it was on, so I missed the first 10 minutes. I saw a preview for the show while I was watching the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night and saw a commercial for it but it didn’t say when it started. The show is called “Switched at Birth”. The title really says it all: two babies were switched in the hospital at birth. And now it’s about 16 years later (I don’t know for sure so don’t quote me on that) and they finally realize the mistake and the girls get to meet their real parents. I didn’t think that by missing 10 minutes I would be missing much, but I thought wrong. I had to change the channel and watch something else because I was so confused! Luckily they are showing it at 10:00 tonight, so I will watch it then!! I’ll be sure to write what I think about it and post that later! Have a great night everyone!!

I have decided…

So, yesterday I wrote about how I was contemplating on getting a DVR or not. Well, after thinking about it  (and sleeping on it) I have made a quick decision…

We’re not getting it!!!!

It’s just not necessary and it’s an extra $14.90 per month that could be put towards the wedding. I’ve had people that commented telling me I shouldn’t get it and people saying I should get it. I was considering both sides here, but then I just decided I didn’t really need it. After the wedding and once we buy a house, then we can get DVR because we won’t be saving for a wedding. But right now, any extra money I have I want to either save for the wedding or save to put in my other savings so I can have some money to pay back my college loans.

DVR…is it worth the extra $?

So just the other day I was thinking about how nice it would be to have DVR. Every Thursday I work 5-9, which means that my fiancé and I miss “Bones”. I don’t even know how many weeks we are behind!  We also miss “Raising Hope”. We can watch the episodes online, but sometimes the internet takes a while to load and it’s annoying to watch it on a small laptop screen. If we had DVR, then we could just hit a button and boom, our TV show is ready to watch. Right now we get the basic plus which is 77 channels. It costs $57.99 a month for that. The cheapest digital cable (Digital Gateway) costs $63.94 a month and then with the DVR that’s an extra $8.95 per month. So when you do the math, it would be $14.90 more per month than what we pay now. So I gotta think about this. That $14.90 per month could be saved and put towards the wedding. Our wedding is about 2 years away, so say we save that much for about…a year and a half, 18 months, that would be $268.20. So really, that’s not too terribly much, but it’s still something. And having the DVR will allow us to watch more of our shows. Which I guess you could say that watching more TV isn’t really necessary, but I think it would be really nice. So what do you think? Oh, one more side not, I’m going to start couponing, so maybe the savings that we make at the grocery store will make up for the extra $14.90 a month we’d be paying for DVR, just a though.
