Would you rather be on Minute to Win It or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

I would rather be on Minute to Win It because I would probably be better on that show than I would be on Millionaire. I don’t think I know a lot of random trivia facts in order to be any good on Millionaire. Although, I’m not sure I could do well on the challenges on Minute to Win It, but I think I could do a little bit better on that show.

Would You Rather Wednesday- 5/10/11

My fiancé helped me out with this week’s “Would You Rather Wednesday”.  Would you rather work four 10 hour days a week or five 8 hour days a week?

For this one I would have to say the second one, five 8 hour days. Both options would still give you 40 hours a week so the only deciding factor here would be if you would want 2 or 3 days off. I’d rather only work 8 hours a day, especially with where I work (fast food). I’ve done a 10 hour shift before, but it’s hard to do! So which would you rather do? Would You Rather Wednesday- 5/4/11

Would you rather receive $10,000 or be able to eat whatever you want and not gain weight?

I would say I’d rather receive $10,000. I already eat pretty much whatever I want and don’t gain that much weight. Plus you can always exercise and eat right to make sure that you don’t gain weight. So yeah, I would so much rather get $10,000. I would use some to pay of my college loans the rest I would put towards my wedding. Which would you rather choose? Leave me a comment and let me know. Would You Rather Wednesday- 4/27/11

Would you rather hire a female babysitter, male babysitter, or either?

So this is something that my local radio station, FM97, was talking about on-air about a month ago. I think personally, it wouldn’t matter to me if the babysitter was a male or female, as long as they can be trusted with kids. Babysitting is a job that most people think is only for women, but I think men could do it, too. So I would say for this one, that I wouldn’t really care if I hired a male or female babysitter.

Would You Rather Wednesday- 4/6/11

 

Would you rather be blind or deaf?

This is a really tough one. I could go either way with this. If I were blind, then I wouldn’t be able to see all the amazing things in the world. I would never see my fiancé or any family members or friends again. On the other hand, if I were deaf, I would never hear music again. I also would never hear the voices of my fiancé, family, and friends.

I think if I really had to choose, I would rather be deaf. I just feel that I would be able to function better if I had my vision. This isn’t to say that anyone who is blind can’t function properly, because with the right support they can live a normal life. But I would rather be deaf and be able to see because then I would be able to do things mostly on my own. Yes I would miss the sounds of the world and I would have to learn sign language, but for the most part, I would want to do things on my own.

This is a really tricky question, because I could argue both sides of it. If I were blind but could hear, I would still be able to enjoy the music that I love. I’d be able to tell my fiancé and family that I love them and I could hear them say they love me.

Would you rather?

I’m going to start a new weekly post. I’m going to call it “Would You Rather Wednesday”

Alright, I was having a debate with my roommate about this. And it was actually her boyfriend who started it. He had a job interview today for something that is totally unrelated to his degree. He texted me earlier today saying “Here’s my dose of mean: I will probably get a job that pays more than you will ever make teaching. Hahaha”. So then I responded with “At least I’ll be using my degree”, to which he said “Whatever. Tell that to your bank account.” I then told him “It doesn’t matter about the money, if it did, I would have picked a different career.”

So then when I got back to my room I asked my roommate, “Would you rather do something you love and get paid a little or do something you hate and get paid a lot?” You know which one she said? The second one. Then she went off about how if you love your job and get paid a little, you’ll be miserable because you won’t have a lot of money. Well I then said that if you hate your job but get paid a lot, you will still be miserable because you won’t like your job. So either way, both scenarios would kind of suck. But you know what, I’m willing to get paid a little to do something I love, which will be teaching. If I wanted to get paid more, then I would have gone to school to be a doctor or a lawyer, but I wouldn’t like either one of those jobs. Who cares if I’m not getting paid a lot? Then I will just have to get my priorities straight and not splurge on things I need. If I want to go on vacation I can just save money and go every other year or every few years.
