New ‘About Me’ Page

I decided to redo my ‘About Me’ page so go check it out here. I’m also going to be revamping other parts of my blog including my header, so make sure you come back to check that out in the next few weeks!!

My newly painted lamp shade!!!

Back on June 26th in this post, I mentioned that me and my fiance went to Goodwill and I found a lamp. Well, I didn’t like the colors of it. It was purple (which is my favorite color) and green. I don’t hate the color green, but I just don’t like the combination of purple and green. Here is what the lamp looked like before.
Like I said before, the green just wasn’t doing it for me. So I got some paint and decided to paint over the green with pink!
I love how it turned out!!! It would be perfect for a little girls’ room!!! This lamp is the only decorative thing we have in our room now, but it looks great!!! You know what would be perfect? To save this lamp for when I have a little girl!! I could give her a whole room filled with purple and pink things, starting with this lamp!!!
So, what do you think? This is the first item I’ve ever fixed up so let me know how I did!!

Heinz has revealed a new ketchup packet!! I went to get breakfast today and after I got my card swiped, I went to get some ketchup for my sandwich and hash brown, and I found this….

And I immediately thought “Wow, I remember hearing about this 2 years ago!” I remember reading that it was gonna be a new packet where you can either easily tear the top off to squeeze it or you could lift a flap to dunk. I just read that article a while ago and then never thought about it again until today.

Today when I used the packet, I ripped off the top and squeezed it onto my sandwich and hash brown. I learned a lesson about it though: it is like a regular bottle of ketchup, you need to shake it before you use it or you’ll get the runny stuff when you first squeeze it.

So that is all, I just wanted to share with you my excitement that I had when I saw this!! Now I can’t wait to eat fries for lunch tomorrow so I can try out the dipping part!!
