Spring is officially here!!

Even though we’ve had Spring-like weather here for a few weeks now, we can now say that it is officially Spring! Did anyone go to Rita’s on Tuesday for their free Italian ice?? My fiancé and I tried but we probably would have been in line for close to an hour so we said forget it! Our plan was to go to Rita’s and then go play some tennis at the park in our backyard, but we just skipped the first part of our plan. Note to self: always make sure there is a hair tie on my wrist! I didn’t have one while playing tennis and my hair was driving me crazy! So now I’m going to make sure I have hair ties in the bag that we take with us to the park to play tennis.

On another note, I can’t believe that I have 3 weeks of classes left this semester!!!! Then I go out into a classroom for the rest of the semester! Time sure is flying by!! I so can’t wait for this semester to be over because then I get to do a lot more planning for the wedding, including dress shopping!!!

Well, I better stop rambling on because I have to get to work on some school work. I’m busy pretty much all weekend starting tomorrow, so today may be my only chance to work on it. Have a great Friday and a great weekend everyone!!!

What’s new with me? Read this to find out!!

Hello blogging world!!! I know I said I would try to post at least once a week, but that hasn’t been happening. When I said this semester is a busy semester, that was an understatement!!! I’ve never been this busy with school work!!! There is also more group work than I’ve ever had in one semester. Luckily I am getting along with everyone in all of my groups. No one likes to work in groups when they can’t get along with everyone!!

I just started my new job this past Sunday. As I said before, I’m going to be a cashier but first I have to start out by bagging. So all I did on Sunday was bag for different cashiers throughout the day. I think I’m getting the hang of it and can’t wait till I can actually start being a cashier!!! The one thing I have to get used to is standing in one spot all day!! My legs and feet hurt so bad on Sunday because I’m used to moving constantly. I would have never thought that moving constantly could make my legs and feet hurt less than standing in one spot. Now that I’m gonna be standing in one spot at work, I’m getting on my Wii Fit everyday or at least every other day. I gotta stay in shape!

Yesterday my fiancé started his new hours at his work. So now he will be getting off around 3:30!!! I had customer service training from 4-7 yesterday so I wasn’t home when he was home and I wasn’t home for dinner. So tonight will be the first weeknight that we can both eat dinner together at a reasonable time!!! Sometimes he would get off at 7 and I would plan for dinner to be done around then so I could eat with him. It’s gonna be so nice getting to eat around 5 or 6 and getting to eat together!!

Let’s see, what’s new with my Scentsy business you may ask? I have one person who is doing a catalog party and I’m waiting for her to be done collecting orders. I have a party coming up in about 2 weeks so I’m excited for that!! It will be my first party that I’m hosting at someone elses house! The catalog party was supposed to be a home party but then she didn’t have anyone coming so we just made it a catalog party. I’m party of 2 groups on facebook where people can post things they are selling or looking to buy so I posted that I’m looking for people to host a Scentsy party. Well, I got one person that messaged me saying she’s interested in hosting a party so I now have my first party for November!!!

Well, I guess that’s about all I’ve got. I think I updated you with everything that has been going on with me recently. Oh wait, one more thing…I think I mentioned before that my fiance and I are looking into buying a house by next Spring. Well, he is finally going to get to call a lender when he gets off work today so we are hopefully going to get pre-approved for a mortgage soon! Then we will know what our price range is and we can start looking at more houses!! We looked at 3 already, but they were all out of our price range. We were mainly looking at them so we could meet with different real estate agents and find the one that we want to work with.

First day as a college senior…

Well, I’ve survived my first day as a college senior!!! I can’t believe I just typed that! Where has the time gone?? Today was just a typical first day, going over the class syllabus in each class. I had 3 of my 5 classes today and will have the next 2 tomorrow. Well, I guess there isn’t really that much more to say about my first day. It seems like it’s going to be a very busy semester!!

In other news of things going on in my life, I just started watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager on Netflix. I’ve heard of the show but never watched it before until recently when I saw a rerun of it on TV. So then I decided to see it on Netflix, and of course it was! So now I have 62 episodes left to watch! I really wish I would have started watching this earlier in the summer because maybe then I could have gotten through all 73 episodes! Oh well, can’t turn back time.

Now I’m going to start doing some of my reading due on Wednesday. Have a great rest of your night everyone!!

Another semester is coming to an end…

Well, I’ve only got the rest of today and then some of tomorrow, and then I’m done living in the dorms for good. I’m going back to commuting like I did my first semester and a half. Looking back, I’m really glad I did decide to live on campus for the 2 years and half a semester that I did. I’ve had 3 great roommates throughout my time living on campus and I’ve made some great friends. I’m going to miss seeing my friends all the time and being right on campus so I don’t have to waste time driving to and from class everyday. But you know the one thing I’m not going to miss??

Dorm showers!!! They are way too small and aren’t always the cleanest!!!

I also won’t miss the food too much. I won’t have to choose between foods anymore, I’ll actually get to decide for myself what I want to eat!!

The number one thing I’m most looking forward to is being with my fiancé and seeing him everyday!!! I’ll also get to see my family a lot more!

It’s just so hard to believe that another semester has ended (well, almost) and I have a year and a half to go!!! My fiance is lucky, he’s doing an online program and he actually graduates at the end of this year. Let’s just hope that I passed all my classes this semester so I can take block in the fall! Grades have to be in by 11:00 am on May 11th, so I should know then if I passed!! 6 more days!!! Well, that’s all for now! Leave me comments!!!

I'm LOVING that the end of the semester is almost here!!! I have 5 classes left and then finals start!!

I'm LOVING my new dress I bought from Walmart last night!!! I can't find a picture of the dress online, otherwise I would totally share it!!

I'm LOVING how nice the weather has been!! I think the warm weather might be here to stay. Fingers crossed!

 

I'm LOVING that I get to see my fiance's family two weekends in a row!!!
