Cream Perfume Company Review & Giveaway (Ends 6/6)

Yes, you read that right! I did say that I had some reviews and giveaways lined up and I just got my first product in the mail last week!!!
I would like to thank Mary Johnston, the founder and president of The Cream Perfume Company, for allowing me to review her products and do a giveaway here on my blog. You can find her products at kaponga.com. They are based in Southern California and appeal to anyone who loves natural, effective, and affordable personal care products. Their cream perfumes were created as a more affordable and healthier alternative to highly-priced fragrances that are packed in environmentally unfriendly materials. They use less expensive, alternative, and eco-friendly container materials such as wood and use beeswax and sweet almond oil in their products. The body lotions contain pure and naturally derived oils and extracts from nature along with their premium French fragrance oils to combat dehydrated, sore, inflamed, and damaged skin.

100_1968 One of the items I received was their Mandarin body lotion. I can honestly say that I’ve never smelled a body lotion like this before. All the lotions I’ve smelled before smell way too strong but this one has just the right amount of fragrance in it. What’s so nice about this lotion is that it is made from all natural ingredients, is 100% vegan, and it is wheat and gluten free. All of their lotions are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, artificial colors, and petroleum-based ingredients. The lotion is very soft and doesn’t leave you with that overwhelming scent that other lotions leave. It says on the bottle that it is "excellent when  used immediately following bathing to lock in moisture." I've used it right after taking a shower and it is really nice!

100_1964 100_1967I also received two of their small 0.35 oz containers of cream perfume: raspberry and ylang ylang. They come in travel-friendly jars that won’t leak or break which are made from “residual wood sourced from environmentally conscious mills that meet criteria set out by the Forest Stewardship Council”. Again, they have the right amount of fragrance in them. I’ve never seen a product like this before. It almost looks a little bit like lip gloss. But I’m pretty sure it isn’t safe for use on your lips, so I wouldn’t try doing that. It can be easily applied to your wrists or neck, or wherever else
you would like to add some fragrance to your body.
